JMK, aka Jean Marie K, the amazing story of an electronic griot...3 letters that reveals a lot on the artist - As a nightbird, he started out his DJ carreer in 1988, along Laurent Garnier at l'Europeen theater. Since that night, he continued spinnig in many different clubs in France and across Europe. His collaboration extended to other professional fields, such as fashion shows. He worked with stylist Stephane Rolland for jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture, as well known lebanese designer, Zuhair Murad. DJ, producer since the beginning, his productions have been signed on various foreign record labels, such as Aquatic Plant(Germany), XS Records(Netherlands). Recently, his track <U Can't Stop Me> have been compiled by numerous compilations across Europe, including Miguel Migs 24th Street Sounds,out on NRK Records.

JMK is a DJ of heart above all, he occurred everywhere in Europe like in Tahiti, Miami, New York, Shangaî, and also on new emergent scenes. An unusual artist for unusual events. From  Morocco (Resident DJ at Platinium) and at the Chefchaouen’s Festival, he was also in Bosnia for the first Electronic event just after the war in 1997, taking place in Sarajevo’s central station.

Since he sailed this in between various clubs in Athens, St Petersbourg, Berlin, Brussels, Kiev, Lubjana, and Budapest. He plays for the  biggest Europeans events like Universe, May Day, Mystery land!! He s the guy from all fronts

Pioneer of electronic music in France but also in Croatia, he spins there since 1996, and as he likes to say it: “The Croatian people are the best public in the World”. He has just celebrated its “10 Years of Love with Croatia” compilation in the prestigious club Hacienda.In 2005 and 2006, the Croatian TV has chosen him to be the official DJ for Sarajevo’s Film Festival.  Today, DJ, producer, person in charge of FG Recordings label, Jean-Marie K is still sharing Music, bringing his tribal touch in the electronic scene.An artist apart, who contributed to the success of Dancefloor FG compilations, which sold a Million  of copies in 13Volumes, in collaboration with FG DJ Radio A&R, Didier Sinclair and all the radio team.
